Lenoir City Schools Opening Day

Lenoir City Schools officially kicked off the 2026-27 School Year with Opening Day at The Venue yesterday with a number of activities designed to celebrate our students! The LCHS Marching Panther Band and Colorguard performed alongside Cheerleaders from both our middle and high schools, the LCHS Singers performed the National Anthem, and the highlight of the event was our featured speaker, 2026 LCHS Graduate Ashtin Graves. We also recognized our Employees of the Year, Susie Buckner and Carolyn Miller.  We appreciate all of our school board members attending, in addition to several other local dignitaries, and we can't wait to begin welcoming students back!
